

Gary L. Bress
President/Chief Operating Officer
Gary Bress assumed his present position at the start up of the company, while still serving as a Project Manager for a Project at Buckley Air Force Base. AFSS was created in 2005 as a subsidiary of Aleut Management Services. His varied and diverse civilian and military background includes service with the United States Army, the Colorado Army National Guard, Colorado Law Enforcement and work as a government contractor.
Mr. Bress’ experience also includes: Director of Public Safety, University of Northern Colorado, Assistant Adjutant General for Facilities, Colorado Department of Military Affairs, and Project Manager for a Civil Engineering, Transportation Management, Information Management and Housing services contract at Buckley Air Force Base.
Mr. Bress holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Applied Geography with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. He also earned an AAS in Criminal Justice from Aims Community College. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star and Air Medal and civilian awards include a Red Cross Life Saving award and American Legion Award for exemplary service to the community.

Mr. Gary L. Bress

Ken served in the United States Air Force as a Civil Engineer, retiring in 2000 in the senior non-commissioned ranks. He spent half his career overseas, stationed in Germany and England. His final assignment brought him to Colorado with his posting to Buckley AFB, Aurora. CO. His hobbies include motorcycling, hiking and camping. He resides with his wife Deborah in Parker, Colorado.

Prior to coming to AFSS, Tony spent 6 years in the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Power Program, serving aboard the USS Nimitz. From there he spent 11 years with Colorado Public Service Company at their Ft. St. Vrain Nuclear Power Plant becoming a licensed Reactor Operator. After that 9 years at Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Facility, working as an Auditor, Inspector, and Stationary Engineer. In 2000 he began working for TekStar on the Buckley AFB CEITS contract for 6 years as the Safety Manager.
Tony holds a Reactor Operator’s License from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. As well as ISO 9000 Lead Auditor and technical writer training. He has been married for 30 years to Karen and has two children, Robert and April. Three grandchildren; Zack, Maggie, and Kendall.
