Rod E. Malloy
President
Mr. Malloy assumed the role of President of Aleut Technologies, LLC in June 2009.  To this position, Mr. Malloy brings extensive experience earned from his distinguished service in the United States Navy and work within industry supporting U.S. Strategic Command, the Missile Defense Agency and Air Force Space Command.  Mr Malloy’s previous position was as a System Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contractor in support of the Joint Force Component Commander, Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC-IMD), employed by Cobham Analytic Solutions (formerly SPARTA, INC).

During Mr. Malloy’s military career, he had a broad level of operational and staff experience in the areas of surface ship operations, engineering, information technology, space, and cyber operations.  Afloat assignments included USS ELLIOT (DD-967), USS MITSCHER (DDG-57), USS NIMITZ (CVN-69) and USS CORONADO (AGF-11).  He also served on the staffs of the Chief of Naval Operations, Commander Third Fleet, and Commander Destroyer Group Five embarked on USS NIMITZ during OPERATIONS ENDURING FREEDOM (OEF) and IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF).  His career culminated as Commanding Officer, U.S. Naval Information Operations Command Yokosuka Japan, where he led more than 125 Sailors in support of cryptologic and information operations in the Western Pacific. 

Mr. Malloy holds a Master of Science in Space Systems Operations, which he earned at the Naval Postgraduate School, as well as a Master of Arts in National Security & Strategic Studies earned from the Naval War College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the University of San Diego.

Rod and Samantha Malloy live east of Monument, CO with their three children: Kristen, Allyson, and Matthew.  The Malloy’s enjoy tennis, soccer and various other outdoor mountain activities with their children.

Jeff Marshall
Operations Manager
Mr. Marshall assumed the role of Operations Manager of Aleut Technologies in August 2009.  Jeff brings a strong background in operations support earned during his 20-year career in the United States Air Force and 5 years in industry.  He has worked with U.S. Strategic Command, the Missile Defense Agency, Air Force Space Command, 1st Armored Division, 1st Infantry division, and NASA.  His previous position was as a System Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contractor in support of the Joint Force Component Commander, Integrated Missile Defense (JFCC-IMD), employed by Cobham Analytic Solutions (formerly SPARTA, INC).

Mr. Marshall brings a broad range of operational and staff experience in the areas of operational weather support, Department of Defense Architecture Framework, communications, and missile defense.   His military assignments include Ft. Riley, Kansas; Andersen AFB, Guam; Shaw AFB, SC; Peterson AFB, CO; Hanau, Germany; and Holloman AFB, NM.  He also deployed in support of the NASA Space Shuttle Program, OPERATION DESERT STORM, and OPERATION JOINT FORGE.  His career culminated as acting First Sergeant for the 8th Fighter Squadron during OPERATION IRAQI FREDOM, where he was responsible for the morale, safety and welfare of over 60 airmen.

Mr. Marshall holds a Master of Science in Management of Information Systems Security from Colorado Technical University, a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences and Mathematics from Thomas Edison State College, and Associates in Weather Technology from the Community College of the Air Force and several professional IT certifications.
Jeff and Linda Marshall live near Monument, CO and have two children: Kristina and Allen.  The Marshall’s enjoy gardening, travel, and the beauty of Colorado.
